Cornteen Fashion

Hey guys, long time no blog. What better time to start writing again than when I’m stuck at home. Right? Right. I don’t know about you but I’ve got my cornteen fashion looks on lock.

On the real though, I’ve been trying to get dressed every other day. Not because I’ve got some place to go, or something cool to do. Usually I’m just floating from my bedroom to the kitchen, to the couch, to the bedroom again, to the kitchen for school work, lather, rinse, repeat.

The calendar however assures me that it’s in fact spring. That better times are coming and that someday, maybe, we will be able to leave our homes again. We’ll be able to have cocktails with our girlfriends and watch the premieres of our favorite shows together again. Tonight we’ll have to settle for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Premiere via Zoom.

I’ve got online carts full in so many different places it’s ridiculous. I’m putting together outfits for specific engagements, like First Ladies Night After Cornteen, First Date Night After Cornteen (of course that would also require Barry to be home??), and When I’m Back At Work Full Time. It’s been a great way to pass the time but I’m going to share a few of my favorite picks below.

cornteen fashion- overalls

I loooove these overalls! Great price, they seem comfy and they’d be great for when/if I go back to work. I’d wear some cute espadrilles and a striped tee probably.

cornteen fashion boyfriend tee

Speaking of tees, I’m literally living in these boyfriend tees. I think I have every color. They’re a really good quality, thick and substantial. Price is phenomenal and honestly feel better than my expensive Madewell t-shirts. They’re really cute with my cornteen leggings.

This dress has me breaking my cardinal rule of no white clothes. I don’t know about your kids but mine are disgusting creatures. Add that to my pets and I just can’t. But I’m really vibing with this dress, my black new balance 574 and a denim jacket. Or if I’m feeling fly I could wear some pumps.

This linen tank top with some skinny jeans and some pumps?? That’d be such a great outfit for my first night out with my girls. Sipping on some rosé and eating a cheese board?? Sounds heavenly.

Now if thinking about life after cornteen has you feeling like you just want to stay in your cozies, that’s ok too! I just need something, anything to look forward to. Planning events and choosing new outfits is helping me. How are you dealing with this covid-quarantine?? I am loving the planning stages of cornteen fashion.
