2020 is the year of CONSISTENCY

Some people make New Year’s Resolutions. Some people don’t. I don’t like to make a promise I can’t keep so I choose a word to get me through the year. I’m not just talking blog posts, but that’s definitely an aspect that’ll be included. I mean nutritionally, physically, spiritually and even in my housekeeping. I want to be the kind of woman that folds a load of laundry right out of the dryer, CONSISTENTLY. I want to work out 5 days a week, CONSISTENTLY. I want to eat healthily, yep, you guessed it, CONSISTENTLY. 2020 is going to be my year. 2020 is the year of consistency.

I feel like I’m constantly losing my way or falling off track. Progress isn’t perfect and it’s ok to stumble a little. The important part is getting back up, dusting myself off, and trying again.

Consistency is the theme for the year but that definitely doesn’t mean I’m without goals. Of course not. I want to do all the things and do them well but here are some that I’m focusing on for 2020.

#Goals
1. work out/ride my peloton 5 days a week
2. drink water
3. blog consistently- 1x a week AT LEAST
4. achieve colorstreet goals- jump start 95, senior stylist
5. clean my closet and transform into workshop/office
6. donate clothes
7. finally post to poshmark the pile of clothes in my room
8. keep my room clean (like a teenager)
9. never get behind on laundry- one load folded and put away/day

As I look back at 2019 and all that’s occurred I’m so grateful for my community. I’m humbled to know how supported I’ve been, and how supported we will continue to be. I look forward to many adventures in the year to come. I look forward to results and reaping the fruit of my labors. I feel really good about the things that I was able to accomplish and let go of in 2019 but I’m looking forward to seeing all that I can achieve. 2020 is the year of consistency and I cannot wait to see what it brings. Do you do a New Year’s Resolution? Or a word of the year? Leave them below in the comments.

  1. Love this!! I chose a word in 2019, STABILITY, and it was the best thing I did for myself. It took so much of the pressure off a resolution and allowed me to remember what was important. Still working on 2020s word so thanks for the inspiration!! Love you 😘

  2. This is great I love it! You got this. I believe in you.. I feel I need to start on goals.. but will I continue them??
